Cool and creamy describes this easy delicious Cherry Mousse made with Jello,cherry pie filling and Cool Whip. It’s the perfect summer treat!
The recipe made 6 servings for me, my glasses were very tall. You can make them in small dessert dishes and get at least 12 servings to feed a crowd or cut the recipe in half for smaller portions.
This creamy delicious treat can be made in different flavors. Pick a pie filling flavor and match it up with the same flavor of Jello.

Cherry Mousse is an impressive dessert to serve to dinner guests. You don’t have to tell them how easy it was to make. It’ll be our little secret. Enjoy!
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 small packages Cherry Jello
- 4 cups ice cubes
- 3 cups thawed Cool Whip
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- Using a large bowl, stir the boiling water into jello. Add the ice and stir until jello starts to thicken, remove unmelted ice.
- Add the thawed cool whip,stir with a whisk until well incorporated. Refrigerate the mixture about 20 minutes or until slightly thicken. Stir in the cherry pie filling, spoon into serving bowls. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
