Learn How to Make An Iced Latte- Iced Chocolate Latte Ingredients:
- A tall glass filled with ice
- 1/2 cup twice brewed coffee
- 2 Tablespoons white sugar
- a good squirt of chocolate syrup
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup whole milk, as much or as little as you want
- whipped cream
- cinnamon
- 1 Teaspoon instant coffee, if you not brewing the coffee twice
We start our Iced Chocolate Lattes by brewing coffee. Any brand you like. Decaff or regular it doesn’t matter. After the coffee has been brewed you are going to put it back through the coffee maker and brew it again to make it stronger. The recipe makes one glass at a time. If you have a coffee maker that makes a full pot of coffee, take the amount you need to make the number of lattes you want. Let the remaining coffee in the coffee pot cool. When the coffee has cooled, fill ice cube trays with the leftover coffee and freeze them. If you enjoy a strong coffee flavor in your latte you can substitute the regular ice cubes in the recipe for coffee ice cubes.
If you are not real crazy about the idea of putting the brewed coffee back into the coffee maker to brew it again to make it stronger, you can add one teaspoon of instant coffee granules to your glass. This way you can control the coffee flavor strength of your latte.
Next, place a 1/2 cup of the twice brewed coffee into a coffee cup or a measuring cup. Add 2 Tablespoons of sugar, a squirt of chocolate syrup and between a 1/4 cup to a 1/2 cup of whole milk (your choice) to the coffee, stir well. Pick out a nice tall glass and fill it with ice cubes. Pour the coffee mixture over the ice. Top your delicious Iced Chocolate Latte with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. If you want to take it up a notch, put a splash of coffee liquor in the latte! This is your downtime mama (or daddy), sit back, relax and Enjoy!
