Strawberry Filled Buttermilk Biscuits Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon cinnamon
- One 12 ounce tube tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 10 Teaspoons strawberry preserves
We start our Strawberry Filled Buttermilk Biscuits by unrolling the tube of refrigerated buttermilk biscuits and dividing them into 10 biscuits. Place the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, stir the two ingredients to combine them. Dip each individual biscuit into the melted butter to cover the tops and sides of the biscuits. After they are dipped in butter, roll the biscuits in the cinnamon/ sugar combination.
Place the biscuits on an ungreased cookie sheet pan.
Make a deep indentation in the center of each biscuit with the handle of a wooden spoon. Fill the indentation with one Teaspoon of strawberry preserves.
Bake the filled biscuits in a 375 degree preheated oven for 15 – 18 minutes or until they are golden brown. Cool the biscuits for at least 15 minutes before serving them, the preserves in the center will be hot.
