Chocolate and Peanut Butter Brownies Ingredients:

- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla
- 3 eggs, room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 Teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup mini peanut butter cups, cut into quarters
- 24 whole mini peanut butter cups
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
The Steps for the Chocolate and Peanut Butter Brownies
We start the recipe by first preheating the oven to 350 degrees and greasing a 13×9 inch baking pan. Our next step is to place the brown sugar, peanut butter, vanilla and eggs in a large bowl and beat them together with an electric mixer on medium speed until the ingredients are well incorporated.
Place the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl, stir to combine the ingredients.
Add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture. STIR the ingredients together with a spoon until they are well incorporated.
Next, stir the cut up mini peanut butter cups and milk chocolate chips into the batter.
Spread the batter into your prepared (greased and floured) 13×9 inch baking pan evenly. Place the baking pan in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 25 – 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove the pan from the oven to a wire rack.
As soon as you place the brownies on the wire rack (we aren’t waiting for them to cool) immediately place whole mini peanut butter cups into the top of the brownies in what you would consider a serving. Starting at the short vertical end of the pan, I spaced out 4 mini peanut butter cups across the pan, then worked my way down the pan to make six rows. Cool the brownies completely before cutting and serving them.
