Mustard Vinaigrette Salad Dressing
Making a delicious dinner from leftovers just thrills me to no end. I grilled a sirloin steak for dinner one night this week. The leftovers , which would have been enough for one serving, was cut thinly on the bias and set atop vegetables from the garden.
I had my gorgeous dinner salad ready, the only component missing was the dressing. I love steak and chicken grilled with mustard marinades, which made me think ,why not a salad dressing made with mustard? Why not indeed!
Mustard Vinaigrette Salad Dressing made with Dijon Mustard and a few other very simple ingredients, dressed our salads perfectly with wonderful flavor that complemented the meat and the salad beautifully. A very simple grilled steak salad was made extra special by a vinaigrette that took literally minutes to make. You know what my first thought was? What would I pay in a restaurant for the same salad with a homemade vinaigrette that I made out of leftovers? I don’t even want to think about it.
Mustard Vinaigrette Salad Dressing would be just as delicious on a salad made with leftover grilled chicken breast. I’ll be grilling extra chicken breast so I can enjoy this homemade vinaigrette on top of our garden fresh vegetables for as long as they last. Mustard Vinaigrette Salad Dressing…Enjoy!
