Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Cookie Bars are easy to make and OH SO GOOD!! They’re made with store bought refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough which makes them come together in no time flat. Two layers of cookie dough with a cream cheese layer in between. How easy is that! Let’s gather the ingredients and make these easy and delicious Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Cookie Bars together.
Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Cookie Bars Ingredients:
- One eight ounce package cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons white sugar
- 1 large egg room temperature
- 1 roll chocolate chip cookie dough from the refrigerated section of your grocery store
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla
Pour the cream cheese filling over the layer of pressed together chocolate chip cookie dough. Spread the filling out evenly to the sides of the pan. Cut the second half of the cookie dough roll we put aside into slices, flattening them either with your hand or a rolling pin. Place the flattened slices on top of the cream cheese layer covering as much of the cream cheese layer as you can.
Bake the pan in a preheated 350 degree oven for 35 – 40 minutes until the cookie bars are puffed and the center has set. Remove the pan from the oven to a cooling rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Cookie Bars
Ingredients
- one 8 ounce package cream cheese,room temperature
- 1/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 roll chocolate chip cookie dough from the refrigerated section of your grocery store
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. 9 inch baking pan (ungreased)Cut the roll of cookie dough in half. Slice one half of the roll into ¼-inch thick rounds. Arrange closely on bottom of pan, pressing to fill in the gaps. In a large bowl, cream the sugar with the cream cheese until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mix well. Pour cream cheese mixture over cookie dough. Slice second half of roll and place over top of cream cheese.Bake for 35 - 40 minutes, until puffed, golden, and center has set. Cool. Cut into 1-inch squares.
