Where do these amazing cheeseburgers sliders originate from?
A couple of weeks ago my neighbour and her husband had family come from out of state to camp in their backyard for the weekend. I was invited over for a cook out. The sliders my neighbour made were absolutely amazing.
I asked her what she had done to them that made them so good. She told me she added dry onion soup mix and mayonnaise to the burger and then made them into patties. Well you know the what the next question was going to be… what were the measurements of the ingredients? How much burger, mayo and soup mix? She couldn’t tell me, she just winged it! OYE!!
I’m happy to say the recipe got figured out and transformed into these beyond amazing Cheeseburger Sliders. I know it’s just hamburger with a couple of ingredients thrown in, but believe me they’re DECADENT!
After everything is snug inside the roll, a sauce is brushed over top of the rolls that just takes these little guys up to WOW when they hit your mouth! This is a very budget friendly meal as well as an appetizer that will be made often! Let’s gather the ingredients and make this amazing slider recipe together.

If you’re like me and like to find homemade recipes for items I buy in the grocery store, here’s a homemade dry onion soup recipe you can make at home to use in the recipe. This recipe is equivalent to one envelope of store bought dry onion soup.
Homemade Dry Onion Soup Mix Ingredients (equal to one envelope store bought dry onion soup)

- 2 Tablespoons low sodium beef bouillon
- 1/4 Teaspoon onion powder
- 1/8 Teaspoon celery seed
- 1/4 Teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1/8 Teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 Teaspoon black pepper
