Almond Butter Yeast Cake
I hope you love baking with yeast as much as I do. If you’ve never attempted it, this would be a fantastic first recipe to make. It was extremely easy to put together. This cake is made in a 9 inch round baking pan. I love small cakes, they work perfectly for when there are only one or two people . They’re small enough to enjoy without having tons left over. Almond Butter Yeast Cake is the perfect coffee break or snack cake. My guests loved it, they aren’t frosting lovers so this was right up their alley.
After the dough is made and in the baking pan, it’s sprinkled with sugar and sliced almonds. There’s only one rise for this soft, almond flavored cake. After the dough rises it’s dotted with butter and baked. Almond Butter Yeast Cake isn’t just decorated with almonds to give it an almond flavor. The cake has two tablespoons of Almond Butter in the batter to give you a delicious buttery almond flavor all through the cake. Grab yourself a cup of coffee and …ENJOY!
