  • 4 bone in center cut pork chops
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 large red bell pepper ,sliced into strips
  • 1 large green bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Season pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.  Dredge chops in flour.  Place a large saute pan on the stove over medium heat. Place the oil in the pan. Place the pork chops in the pan and saute until golden brown on both sides.
Remove the chops from the pan onto a plate and set aside.  Saute the peppers and onions in the same pan you sauteed the pork chops in until tender. Add the chicken broth and garlic powder to the pan and return the pork chops to the pan as well. Cover the pork chops with the peppers and onions. Place a lid on the pan and simmer for 45 minutes on medium heat until pork chops are fork tender.
