Lime Pineapple Fluff


  • one 20 ounce can unsweetened crushed pineapple, drained well
  • one 15 ounce can pear halves
  • one 8 ounce Tub frozen whipped topping,thawed
  • 3/4 cup pecans,chopped
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped, for garnishing the top
  • one 8 ounce package cream cheese,softened
  • one 3 ounce package lime gelatin


  • Drain the pears placing the juice in a small saucepan., set the pear halves aside. Bring the pear juice to a boil, remove from the heat and add the lime gelatin. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
    Cube the cream cheese and place in a food processor along with the pear halves. Process until smooth. Remove the mixture from the food processor to a large bowl. Stir in the gelatin until well combined. Stir in the crushed pineapple and 3/4 cup chopped pecans. Fold in the whipped topping. Pour the mixture into an ungreased 13x9 inch pan, sprinkle the 1/4 cup chopped pecans over top as a garnish. Refrigerate until firm.
