one20 ouncecan unsweetened crushed pineapple, drained well
one15 ouncecan pear halves
one8 ounceTub frozen whipped topping,thawed
3/4cuppecans,chopped
1/4cuppecans, chopped, for garnishing the top
one8 ouncepackage cream cheese,softened
one3 ouncepackage lime gelatin
Instructions
Drain the pears placing the juice in a small saucepan., set the pear halves aside. Bring the pear juice to a boil, remove from the heat and add the lime gelatin. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.Cube the cream cheese and place in a food processor along with the pear halves. Process until smooth. Remove the mixture from the food processor to a large bowl. Stir in the gelatin until well combined. Stir in the crushed pineapple and 3/4 cup chopped pecans. Fold in the whipped topping. Pour the mixture into an ungreased 13x9 inch pan, sprinkle the 1/4 cup chopped pecans over top as a garnish. Refrigerate until firm.
