Hot Beef Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 3/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketsup
  • one 8 oz package cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Teaspoon oregano
  • 1 Teaspoon sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef and onion in a saute pan.  Remove the ground beef from the pan and drain on paper towels to remove all the grease.  Place the ground beef in a microwavable bowl. Add the tomato sauce, sugar, ketsup, garlic and oregano to the bowl. Stir to combine. Microwave for 1 minute. Add the creamed cheese and Parmesan Cheese to the bowl, microwave for 2 minutes or until creamed cheese has melted.  Salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine, serve hot with crackers or Doritos.
