Looking for recipe from when my kids were little and my son needed more iron in his diet. Seemed the easiest way to get it in him happily was molasses… This is it, thank you!
Also I made then immediately and without cooling dough. Turned out beautifully! Happy Mother’s Day. Taking them to my now grown sons house!

THANKS for the answer-made these and got GREAT feedback-I make chocolate chip dough the night before also-my wife wanted these cookies smaller-can I use some corn starch to accomplish less spreading?

Not that I’ve found Dan. Now I use to make cookie dough up years ago and keep it in the fridge until the next day to save time the day I wanted to make the cookies.but that was normally with a chocolate chip cookie recipe.
