In reply to Henny. Hi Henny! Broiling Our ovens here have a heating element inside the stove on the top and on the bottom if it's an electric stove. Broiling is when you use the top heating element to brown a food. Hope this helps.

Hi I know this is an old thread but just found it!
Can you explain what broiling is? I’m from the UK!!
Also the best recipe for pizza topping/ tomato sauce

I made this and it was Mmmm Mmmm good! After the second rise I added the sauce and toppings and baked it for 20 minutes. Then I broiled it for a couple more minutes to finish cooking the toppings. This one’s a keeper. Thank you for sharing.

i tried Ann’s focaccia bread over the holidays and it is to die for! Love the idea of turning it into a pizza. Yum!
