I went to college in PA and I remember the first time I saw chicken pot pie in the cafeteria. I was thrown for a loop. My friends who were from the area assured me that was the PA Dutch version of pot pie. I know I have my own “pot pie” recipe that isn’t pie at all but uses broccoli and a biscuit topping. I took to calling it chicken broccoli cobbler instead.
