In reply to linda. Linda I used the rods, not the little sticks. I used a 12 oz bag of pretzel Rods and used the whole bag. I can't really tell you how many were in the bag though!

I’ve had these at a restaurant and have been dying to make them. Do you use the skinny, smallish pretzel sticks or the big rods? How many does this recipe make?

I remember making these as a kid in Kindergarten. My teacher would add chunks of pineapple between the bacon and the pretzel before baking. They were delicious!

In reply to Jennifer Altimore. Jennifer I'd keep them in the fridge and let them come to room temp before serving. Take them out of the fridge and hour before serving.

COuld I bring these with me in a sealed tight container and serve them the next day, or would you suggest keeping them in fridge?

How long can you keep the bacon pretzel rods before serving?–I would like
to take them to a fellowship–the food sets out 2 hrs before serving.–Would
this work for the pretzel rods?
