Yes, I know exactly what you mean, Bunny. That’s why we always pack a cooler with us so that we can bring lots of goodies home with us on our return trip back to Pittsburgh. That’s half the fun of going there 🙂 🙂

Valerie I would love to stop and visit Kauffman’s on one of our trips back to Pa. to see family. I’d have to wait till we were ready to come home though, I know I’d load the car up with goodies!!

Being a Pennsylvania girl myself, I love to support local businesses, and I know exactly where Kauffman’s Fruit Market is located, because we have stopped there several times over the years whenever we have taken a trip to Bird-in-Hand, PA, which is one of our favorite places in PA to visit. Everything that they sell from their fruit farm is always fresh and delicious. Although I must admit that I have never tried their Apple Schnitz, so the next time that we are in the area, we will have to stop at Kaufmann’s Fruit Market and buy a bag. Have a great weekend!
